As far back as I can remember, I've always had a fascination with captured moments and preserved memories. As a child, I would waste hours watching old family films and thumbing through endless photo albums. At age ten, I borrowed a VHS camcorder from my grandparents with the hopes of documenting nonstop. My grandparents wouldn't let my eleventh birthday pass without a plan to get their camcorder back; they bought me my first video camera.

Ten years (and boxes of photos and videotapes) later, I realized it's the stories I love the most. The moment, the memory, the feeling; the story is supreme. I can't think of a more honest way to capture it all than through the lens of a camera.
